In addition to the gun positions themselves, both emplacements contain a powder room, one large shell room and two smaller shell rooms, an air compressor room and a small store room. Each of the small shell rooms housed 100 rounds of high explosive ammunition while the large shell room provided storage space for 400 armor piercing rounds.

Interestingly, at both Battery Const. #293 and Battery Const. #294 on Rugged Island, a small concrete shelter has been substituted for the typical 'Signal Corps Slab' near each of the gun positions.
