Many former military sites (including some presented on this site) are not open or accessible to the general public and proper permissions and/or arrangements are required prior to any visit. Use of this site constitutes your understanding and acceptance of the above statements. First, I will occasionally digitally remove litter, bystanders or other obstructions. This is usually limited to small objects. Second, many of the photos with a six digit file name have been taken using a wide angle lens which can result in a slight 'fisheye' effect. In cases where the effect is particularly noticeable, I have digitally corrected the images to minimize distortion. Third, some coastal defense sites have been rather badly vandalized. The images on my page have been checked for profane or indecent graffiti, when found I do one of two things; 1. Use the 'clone tool' to erase the objectionable area or, 2. If the affected area is to large for the above method, I will pixalate the area. If you notice anything I have missed, please send me an Email telling me where and I will give it a look.
