The rooms on the west side of battery #131 include an air compressor room, two store rooms, a shell room and a powder room.

Powder room
The gun #2 powder room had two vents that connected it to the dehumidification equipment in the power room. This helped to keep the powder and shells dry. The powder room was later used to store survival supplies for the Civil Defense project.
