The SCR-296 radar installation that provided targeting information to Battery Const. #402 was located approximately 500 feet southeast of the gun battery. Structures at the site included a platform were the antenna was mounted without a tower, a standard Signal Corps transmitter building and two small power plants of a nonstandard type.

A system of wooden tunnels connected the transmitter building with the Battery Command station and the Plotting room. All but a small section of the tunnel has collapsed.
