The military installed three magazines near Castle Bluff to support Battery Const. #296. These included two "Steel Igloo" type magazines for small caliber Anti-Aircraft (AA) ammunition, and a large concrete structure that stored Battle Allowance (also know as War Reserve) ammunition for Battery Const. #296.
