In addition to the gun positions themselves, both emplacements on the upper level contain a powder room, one large shell room and two smaller shell rooms, an air compressor room and a small store room. Each of the small shell rooms housed 100 rounds of high explosive ammunition while the large shell room provided storage space for 400 armor piercing rounds.
