Home  |  Kodiak

Searchlight #15 was located at Burt Point, the southernmost tip of Long Island. The installation included a combined power plant and searchlight shelter as well as a Distant Electric Control station (DEC), from which operators controlled the light.

Like Searchlight #14 at nearby Pyramid Point, Searchlight #15 exhibits remains of a wooden structure built onto the front of its shelter.
