The gun carriages and shields were destroyed in place prior to abandonment of the facility. No remains of the gun tubes could be located, they may have been removed before the demolition. Also at the gun positions are stacks of empty powder canisters left after disposing of the charges. In addition to the gun positions themselves, each emplacement includes a powder room, one large shell room and two smaller shell rooms, an air compressor room and a small store room. Each of the small shell rooms housed 100 rounds of high explosive ammunition while the large shell room provided storage space for 400 armor piercing rounds.
