Searchlight #3
Topeka Point, HD Seward
Home  |  Seward

Searchlights #3 and #4 were located on Topeka Point, on the opposite side of the bay from Rocky Point. Searchlight #3 is located near the shore, while #4 was installed further up the cliff at an elevation of 610 feet. Both were of concrete construction with the searchlight and power plant housed in a single structure.

The Topeka Point installations are difficult to reach, due to the steep cliffs and other conditions. Searchlight #3 can be seen from a boat, but none of the other structures were visible.
