The military installed a large magazine complex on Isadora Island in Lake Chiniak. The magazine was used to store reserve ammunition for Battery Const. #403, which was located nearby.

The facility consists of a corridor running from east to west, with three large rooms on the north side. One of these rooms has a smaller room built into one corner, possibly used to store fuses.
