Searchlight #22 Fort Abercrombie, HD Kodiak

The Coast Artillery installed Searchlight #22 on the north side of Miller Point, covering part of the channel between Kodiak and Spruce Islands. The installation included a combined power plant and searchlight shelter as well as a Distant Electric Control station (DEC), from which operators controlled the light.
